Shaunte DeNee is a fashion forward artist, hailing from the south side of Chicago. Known for her eclectic spin on traditional hip hop, she paints an unconventional picture for her listeners. With a great mix of sounds similar to Missy Elliott, Eve and Lil’ Mama, she definitely prides herself on setting herself apart from most female rappers and everywhere she goes she gets love for her “Uniquely Raw Style”. When asked how she discribes her music she replies, “My music is like a hunny bun from the corner store, Its sweet but the hood luv it!”Her first single “Colorful Clothes” was offical released earlier this year in January.
