Now I would like to think that I have pretty eclectic tastes when its comes to WHAT’s IN MY HEADPHONES so I’m not usually one to just listen to just hip hop, rap and R&B. I definitely delve into pop, alternative, and other genres.
So in getting to different genres I recommended to listen to the dynamic duo of Chester French. The duo consisting of Milwaukee native, D.A. Wallach and Boston native Maxwell Drummey, met on Harvard University’s campus on the Fall of 2003 where they learned that they shared similar tastes in music, even sharing the same Quad Sound Studios as R&B singer Ryan Leslie. Since then they have hit the music scene hard as a prevalent pop music band also consisting of 3 other band members. They have already experienced a bid war between Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, eventually singing with Pharrell thru Star Trak and Interscope Records. Debuting at the SXSW Festival of 2008, their current work includes the songs, She Loves Everybody and Jimmy Choos, both of which have been remixed by The Neptunes. They are now preparing for the release of their first album, Love The Future, which is expected to release this Spring!
