Coming off his gold-selling and Grammy nominated first album, Back of My ‘Lac and the hit song of 2008 in Bed, J.Holiday is back to give you another dose of R&B in Round 2. Recently released on March 10, Round 2 is a great transition as J.Holiday continues to build his name in the music industry. While most artists try to change it up in their second album, J.Holiday sticks to what made him famous in singing love making music ballads throughout his album. The album features production by Jasper (Lloyd’s You and Girls Around the World and The Co-Stars (Teairra Marie’s Make Her Feel Good) The first single, Its Yours, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 Chart but Holiday also has other potential singles to follow up Its Yours. Definitely check out songs: Fall, Wrong Lover featuring Rick Ross, Sing 2 U, Make That Sound and Fly. 

If you’re a frequent reader of my blog then you know that a couple weeks ago I let you know that Keri Hilson is an Artist you’d like. She currently has one of the most popular songs out right now in her hit single, Turning Me On but she also getting a lot of play from recently release Knock You Down featuring Kanye West. Her highly anticipated album, In A Perfect World, has been confirmed to be released on March 24th. With production by Timbaland and Polow Da Don, Keri is finally ready to stake her claim in women’s R&B.  Her versatility definitely shown in speeding it up and slowing in down in tracks throughout the whole album. The album features collaborations with Lil Wayne Turning Me On, Keyshia Cole & Trina on Get Ya Money Up, Timbaland on Return the Favor, and Akon on Change Me. But also check out songs Slow Dance, Intuition, and Alienated. I was able to listen to her album early on IMEEM and I may get a little flack for this but I think it definitely has an “Aaliyah” feel to it. Timbaland may have found a lasting star in Ms. Hilson.
