Check out this artist, Theophilus London, who I started following him on Twitter and decided to take a further listen at his music. If you like hip hop mixed with electronica, then you will like this young hip hop star. He recently released a mixtape called This Charming Mixtape, which I recently listened to thoroughly. His delivery and style to me is still a bit raw and needs some work, but his lyrical content is definitely on point. Some tracks that I definitely on the mixtape were Always Love You, which features a sample of Whitney Houston’s song I Will Always Love You that was electronic-sized and sped up to perfection. This song, in addtion to You’re the One, Crazy Cousins, and sample of Bill Withers’ on Aint No Sunshine. I dont know who produced his tracks but they definitely do a great job with his talent. Do you think he has the potential to take it to the next level?
