Today’s New Music Tuesday features two upcoming artists from the city I love, Chicago…make sure you go out and support them!
Naledge – Chicago Picasso

Calling this more of an exhibit rather than just a mixtape/album, the Kids in the Hall leading rapper, Naledge, is bringing more of what he calls a collection of art that he has been developing over time and to show that Chicago is not just one sound. Featuring production from his partner in Kids in the Hall, Double-O, Nez & Rio, SaRa, and Tha Bizness (producer of Young Money’s Every Girl) and features from Jay Electronica, Bun B, Mickey Factz, Rhymefest, GLC, Chip the Ripper and others, Naledge is striving to put together the perfect collection of art for his following. Talking to him briefly backstage at Rock The Bells you can tell he was excited in anticipation for today’s release. Grab his latest from:
Jeremih

It’s amazing how fast the buzz on this young Chicago R&B and now Def Jam Recording artist has grown! From meeting L.A. Reid earlier this year, dropping his first single Birthday Sex in March to the world, which is probably the most remixed song out right now to dropping his first self-titled album today. And it does not stop there – he is performing throughout this country even at the New York Summer Jam in Giants Stadium. Jeremih has come a long way from walking the halls of Columbia College in downtown Chicago. His first album is all Jermih, no features, which will allow him to display his full talent as an artist. Jeremih will definitely be on his way after the release of this album. Grab it here on:
