Another mixtape that I’m late on posting but still wanted to pass along anyway because he has the hottest mixtape out this week. People across the nation are raving over this mixtape and it definitely deserves the credit that it is getting. If you are not familiar with Donnis, he is an Atlanta representative and does not stray away from claiming his southern style. Although young in the game, Donnis has been able to generate a significant amount of buzz through his series of Snack Pack mixtapes that he has out in the past…Through this he was able to connect to major producers and artists including the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Needlz, who take credit for most of the production on this mixtape and connecting with artists like Bun B, Colin Munroe, and Marsha Ambrosius. Songs that stuck out to me on the mixtape were Country Cool feat. Bun B, Gone, Here To Stay, I am Me, Song For Every Ex and Pop Them Thangs – which features a sample of Uncle Luke’s voice in Doo Doo Brown in a more modernized, techno-ish but hip hop version – its hard to explain. LOL. Anyway, check out this mixtape, this new and upcoming star from Atlanta will not disappoint…Mixed by Mick Boogie & DJ Benzi…
