I got a late pass on this group this past week and I can’t seem to stop listening to them…if you have never heard of them please get into this good mix of hip hop, soul and R&B. I feel like its more Soul, and I could listen to soul pretty much all day if I wanted to.

If you are not familiar with The Foreign Exchange, heres a little background for you: the band originally consisted of rapper Phonte Coleman and super producer Nicolay – who will also be dropping his second volume of his City Lights Series this year. These two met thru Okayplayer message boards and began sending each other track back and forth, eventually joining forces to start The Foreign Exchange. Now, the duo has also added artists Zo! and Carlitta Durand to the mix to further their unique style. This House of Cards track is their new single off their latest album, Leave It All Behind, which dropped in October 2008 – talk about stretching out the hits…but its all good music to my ears…
