Not in the way of a track but while on his college tour in Montreal Jay-Z spoke to Beanie Sigel’s recent emotionally driven track Average Cat and interview with Charlamagne the god where he breaks down why the Roc broke up and how Jay-Z didn’t push him enough to become more a star on his own in comparison to how 50 Cent pushed G-Unit. Ok, enough of me talking, here’s the interview…

Now, in listening to Beans’ interview with Charlamagne and his spilling of the beans (no pun intended) of how the Roc broke up, his issues with Dame & Jay-Z, State Property, and money and then hearing this interview by Jay I can’t help to think that there maybe sometime missing from this entire story. As we all know there always 2 sides to a story. In listening to Beans talk about how the Roc broke up, I felt that it was more of Dame’s “too much stunting, too much Sam Rothstein” that brought the Roc’s demise. Jay, being a wise business man couldn’t continue that relationship. In terms of Beanie Sigel, I think he got the short side of stick when it comes to being with the Roc and their split. Where do they go from here? Who knows, but that response may add fuel to Sigel’s already lit fire…

I totally agree with Jay…People need to start takin responsibility for their own success. If you can’t make it when its bein handed to you…I don’t know what else u can do. The ROC was one of the most prominent Hip Hop labels to date, If u can’t grind and make it after that…there is nobody to blame but yourself Beanz.
