So I wake up to some dope coverage of the Mos Def concert from last night in NYC at the Highline Ballroom – a concert that I was supposed to attend but did not make for a number of reasons. But props to Mikey of  Miss Info who got some footage of this momentus occasion with 4 super powers in Hip Hop taking the stage.

Jay Electronica is having a powerful effect on Hip Hop these days as Exhibit C continues to be a top song on any Hip Hop Head’s list. His effect is almost Drake-esque without having a major album or a major label’s backing that he has been able to have such reach and a buzz on the internet and on the streets. Will we ever get an album out of him? We’ll see, but if you don’t remember he, Mos Def and Curren$y will also collaborate on the Center Edge Territory project…That should definitely be dope. Anyway, enjoy this performance and the potential of greatness that you see on the stage.
