1 Year ago today, I started What’s In My Headphones just as a way to talk about the music that I loved to listen to daily and as something to keep me busy. At that time I had no idea that I would have actual readers, my own hashtag on Twitter (#WIMH) and amass hundreds of visits per day and thousands of pageviews per day. As I kept getting positive feedback and start to read other blogs, I realized that if I wanted to be taken seriously that I would have to continuously improve it. Now every month Justyn and I work diligently to make this site a full-service national music site for our readers every day – giving you more in-depth writing and the music that we think that you would love to hear. I would like to thank all of our supporters, guest writers, the WIMH staff, the artists we’ve worked with, the people who regularly use the hashtag, the people that continue to spread the word about WIMH and those who have helped us in any way.

As we continue to expand this year we take WIMH to the next level for you!
