Freddie Gibbs – Str8 Killa No Filla & Str8 Killa Info [Tracklisting]

I peeped all of Freddie Gibbs’ mixtape and EP info over at our friends The Smoking Section’s site and thought I’d also enlighten our reader base. If you haven’t heard by now, Gibbs’ next mixtape will be Str8 Killa which will drop next Thursday, July 29th on XXLMag.com. Following that release, he will follow up with the release of the Str8 Killa No Filla EP in stores on August 3rd, with 2 additional tracks that will not be featured on the mixtape and also an iTunes bonus track. This will be released via Decon Records.

We came on a little in the middle of Gibbs’ run to this date as we got a great interview with him just before the he hit the XXL Magazine’s Top 10 Freshmen of 2010 and we are most proud him today to see his growth and people recognizing him for that. It was also an honor for him to be on our first mixtape Vol. 1 and to drop a record with his name on it. But it still came as a surprise to our name as well as one of our writers – Justyn Holliday – among his Thanks you on his EP. We definitely thank him for that and hope to continue to watch him be successful in his musical endeavors. (Check out the EP covers and Thanks yous below)
